Lasers & Feelings, by John Harper, is one of my all-time favorite one-shot TTRPGs. It fits on one page, it’s easy to pick up, and it’s beautifully designed from both a rules and a graphical perspective.

Vigor and Vim is a hack of Lasers & Feelings set in an IT department. It introduces exactly one new gimmick, that of defining an “era” in which the game is set and allowing a bonus to “era-appropriate” actions, but it’s otherwise a straightforward reskin.

Plus, it’s distributed as a text file, for reasons that should be obvious once you read through it.
